These individuals have just one thing in common, they have done something that makes them stand out from the crowd by thier deeds or actions be they good or bad.

Jacob Adams 1785-1823 : He endowed the Adams Female Academy in Londonderry NH.
Matthew Adams :Matthew Adams of Boston who, Benajmin Franklim says, gave him the use of his library which was of great service to him in his studies.
Jonathan Moulton 1726-1787 : He was one of Washington's Generals in the Revolutionary War. The town of Moultonborough NH is named for him.
Joseph Pearson 1737-1817 : He was the first Secretary of State in NH.
Abraham Perkins : He invented bank bill plates.
John Phillips : a govenour of Massachusetts in the 1700's.
Myles Standish 1584-1656 : He was a passenger on the Mayflower and instrumental in the developement of Plymouth Plantation.
Brown Thurston 1814- : He wrote the Thurston Genealogies book.
Daniel Thurston 1720-1805 : per B. Thurston he helped frame the Massachusetts Constitution.
Samuel Hemon Thurston 1835- : A member of the hudson valley school of art, He painted "Sunset at Niagra".
William Almon Wheeler : He was Vice President of the United States in 1879.
George Wiggin 1805- : He was mayor of Rockland Maine for 7 years.
